5 Element Diagnosis
The 5 element theory is used as an energetic tool for diagnosis and logical insight into a persons physical, psychological and spiritual body.
In diagnosis the concept is to view the person as a whole with an awareness to the Elements that that person is biased  towards by using Visual, Hara, Pulse, Yu / Bo point & Meridian diagnosis . From this a treatment can be planned to nurture and support (maybe its too weak) or a treatment  to control and subdue that element (maybe its too strong).

However ! people can have a complicated imbalance of the elements, maybe 2 or 3 dominating, which is why the use of the 5 element theory/model greatly helps in the process of finding priority in treatment and gives a more effective treatment.
